Helping small rescue groups increase their capacity and impact
At Sustainable Pet, we understand the vital role that local animal rescue groups play in saving the lives of animals in need, caring for and finding homes for them.
Indeed, rescue groups are a key pillar of Getting to Zero (G2Z), a strategy to prevent the unnecessary killing of thousands of healthy kittens, cats and dogs every year in Australia.
But many small rescues, run by volunteers, are often hampered by lack of funds and low organisational capacity.
Helping them increase their capacity will indirectly help save more animal lives. This is why we started Pawsitive Impact – to help rescue groups increase their impact and capacity by leveraging the web and digital tools, thus making rescue work more sustainable.
